Today, many companies develop and manufacture portable products which operate independently without a power connection (AC). This market is developing at a rapid pace and there is a growing demand for finding small sized cells with high energy density.

In addition, there are products where it is very important that the cells have high discharge / charge cycles and low loss of capacity during the cycles, even if it comes at the expense of the cell size.

Today, there are cells on the market with an energy density between 150-220WH. Therefore, in these two issues, cell manufacturers are investing in development in order to meet the growing market demand.

Regarding cells with high energy density, we have two series.

First series: Rechargeable Li-lon-Pouch Cell (Ultra High Energy Density)

  • Energy Density: [Gravimetric: 418WH/KG] [Volumetric: 707WH/L]
  • Capacity: 3,290mAh (Minimum @ 0.1C) / 3,390mAh (Typical @ 0.1C)
  • Voltage: 3.81V (Nominal) / 4.3V (Upper limit) / 3.00 (Lower limit)
  • Weight: 30.0 grams (Net)
  • Dimensions: T ≤ 5.25mm / W≤51.2mm / L≤66.0mm (T after cycle=5.67mm)

This cell has Long cycle life: above 300 cycles and is suitable for Applications such as: Special UAV, Tablets, Wearables, Smartphones, Security, Medical Devices, Military radios and tags, drone cameras, long run devices.

Remark: This battery technology is under development and in limited supply stage. Other sizes and capacities could be developed upon request.

 

Second series: Rechargeable Li-lon-Pouch Cell (Very High Energy Density)

  • Energy Density: [Gravimetric: 299WH/KG] [Volumetric: 744WH/L]
  • Capacity: 3,930mAh (Minimum @ 0.2C) / 4,010mAh (Typical @ 0.2C)
  • Voltage: 3.87V (Nominal) / 4.45V (Upper limit) / 3.00 (Lower limit)
  • Weight: 51.0 grams (Net)
  • Dimensions: T ≤ 4.12mm / W≤61.7mm / L≤80.5mm (T after cycle=4.45mm).

This cell has Long cycle life: above 500 cycles and is suitable for Applications such as: Special UAV, Tablets, Wearables, Smartphones, Security, Medical Devices, Military radios and tags, drone cameras, long run devices.

Remark: Other sizes and capacities could be developed upon request.

 

In addition, we have another Rechargeable Li-lon-Pouch cell whose uniqueness is Very High Cycle Life: [2,000 cycles to 80% of rated capacity] [ED: 321WH/L].

  • Capacity: 17,500mAh (Minimum @ 0.5C) / 18,000mAh (Typical @ 0.5C)
  • Voltage: 3.20V (Nominal) / 3.65V (Upper limit) / 2.00V (Lower limit)
  • Weight: 370.0 grams (Net)
  • Dimensions: T ≤ 7.20mm / W≤97.0mm / L≤252.0mm (T after cycle=7.80mm).

A case consisting of several of these cells will have a very high safety and a significantly lower cost than what is on the market and is suitable for Applications such as: EV, ESS, Solar systems, Security, Medical carts, Military off-road vehicles, drone base systems, integrated storage devices.
